Thin delicate woven bandage strip written in black ink vertically in hieroglyphic symbols which translates as follows.
“… the unwearying stars. There shall not become weary the the Osiris, the chief of the crew for the lord of the Two lands in the place of truth … for his lord, the overseer of the crew in the place of eternity, Neferhotep… in the court of the Two Truths…”
The titles are of a worker in Deir el Medina, probably 19th or 20th Dynasty. There was a foreman (chief of the crew) named Neferhotep.
