Colombia, Ca. 1000 to 1300 AD.

Ornately decorated with four repousse panels and borders with monkeys, birds, felines and with stippling motifs. Often these were found placed on the head like helmets in elite burial settings. Size: 4 inches Diameter; 12.6 gms. Provenance: Jerrie Cobb Foundation; Ex Sotheby’s NY.
