Nepal; circa 16th to 17th century AD

Depicting a standing female deity, crowned, with sashes flowing, her legs crossed and she holds an arrow in one of her mult-arms (one now gone). An architectural element from a temple or shrine, it has a darkened black surface and exposed oxidized wood. Hook on reverse, for wall-mounting. Size: 33 Inches (84cm) Length. Provenance: Boston, MA Collection; In storage since 1992.
