A post modern expression done by a pre modern artist!! The cotton woven linen serves as a canvas for lively humanoid and zoomorphic creatures to interact. The cloth may have functioned as a burial mantle and the subject matter affirms the connection between the natural and the spirit world beyond,. Natural beige cloth painted with tan and orange pigment. Size:16 12/ x 46 1/4 x 1 3/4 in. W. Now mounted in giltwood frame. Provenance: Ex. New York Collection,
