West Mexico, Protoclassic, ca. 100 B.C. - A.D. 250 An impressive rendition of a redware standing gal with fancy applied molded and painted details. She has an elongated abstracted body and is holding a vase in raised right arm. Condition: Head repaired and surface with strong mineral deposits and root marks. Large size: 17-5/8 inches H. Provenance: Ex. NYC Drs. Siskind and Tuttman collection, acquired 1970s.
