Ecuador, Ca. 500 AD.

Lovely tender expressive example of a female seated on a slap base and with a baby on her lap and an infant in a baby carrier on her back. She is adorned with tunic, necklace, headdress, nose and earrings and fine facial details.. Remains of yellow pigment. Size: 5 inches H. Excellent ancient surface with deposits. Provenance: Ex lifetime Coll of NYC doctors. Wonderfully expressive. Cp.
