13272. Fine Bahia Pottery Polychrome Ocarina Figure

Ecuador, Ca. 500 AD.

Molded ceramic instrument or flute in the form of a standing figure holding hands to body and wearing a long bag wig and necklace. Finger holes in body and blow hole atop headdress. Remains of ochre and yellow applied pigments. Nice sound. Foot restored.

Size 7-3/4 inches high + custom mount.
