Nayarit, West Mexico, Ca. 300 BC to 200 AD.

A choice and sensitive cream slip ware pottery seated female figure with splayed legs and bulbous hips. Holding both hands to her sides. Painted red-orange and black decorative elements and details. Scattered strong mineral deposits on the surface. Intact, excellent condition. Size: 8-1/4 inches H. x 5-5/8 inches W.
