13644. Nazca Polychrome Pottery Kero with Cactus

South Coast Peru, Circa 200 to 400 AD

A polychrome decorated pottery cup having a lower wide band decorated with four large cactus plants. May have been used for the hallucinogenic cactus ceremony. Upper band with two mythological creatures.

Some very minor scattered paint wear, otherwise intact, overall excellent condition.

Size: 4-1/2 inches H. x 3-1/2 inches Diam.
