Late Period, Circa 712 to 300 BC

A carved hardwood mummy mask having a painted white ground and black outlined eyes and brows. A few minor losses and imperfections, otherwise intact. Size: 7-1/2 inches H. + custom mount.
Provenance: Sold to Ezeldeen Taha Eldarir from Salahaddin Sirmali on 5/15/1930. Authenticated and appraised by Mr. Hossen Rashed, head of the Egyptian Antiquities house
