Fine and solid buff color pottery “Pretty Lady” figure depicted with exaggeratedly ample hips and fancy hairdo, animated facial expression. Size: 2-1/4 inches H. + custom mount.
Provenance: Collection of Sidney Berman NYC 1980s. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. A beautiful example. Compare with similar examples in Man Eaters and Pretty Ladies. A landmark catalog exhibition. Montreal Museum of Art, 1971.
