13779. Egyptian Bronze Isis Nursing Horus

XXVIth Dynasty, Ca. 646 to 525 BC.

Lovely cast mother child bronze of the goddess Isis seated and holding her child Horus, on her lap, and wearing a long close-fitting dress, armlets, anklets, broad collar and a striated tripartite wig with finely engraved vulture headdress, and diadem of uraei surmounted by horns and sun-disc.
Size: 7-1/2 inches L. + custom mount.
