Deir Samit, Judea, Late Bronze Age, Ca 1500 - 1250 BC

The delicate ring base jug with bulbous-shaped body, slender cylindrical neck, strap handle and out-turned rim. Surface adorned with tan geometric bands over umber color ground.

Condition: Good deal of earth encrustations. Intact, good ancient patina. Size 9-1/2 inches H. Ex Prominent NY collector DK. acq 2000s
