13819. Mycenaean Pottery Stirrup Jar

Late Bronze Age II, ca. 1450-1200 BC.

An elegant pottery stirrup vessel with handles and funnel neck spout. Bulbous upper body has a tapered foot. Decorated with banded decoration in brown pigment on cream ground.

Size: 3-7/8 inches H. Age wear, intact. Provenance: NY Private Collection DK Acq 2000s.
