13954. Roman Aubergine Glass Handled Jar

Eastern Mediterranean, ca 1st to 3rd Century AD

Mold blown vessel with cylindrical neck, and rolled lip. The handle done in contrasting green glass. Excellent archaeological patina and iridescence. Size: 4-3/4 inches H. Very good condition, intact. Nice example. Ex D.K. a NY coll acq 2000s.
