West Mexico, Protoclassic, ca. 100 B.C. to A.D. 250 Solid hand modeled figure with soft pleasant face, standing nude; her hands at her sides; her breasts exposed. She wears large painted beaded collar and openwork ear ornaments. Compare similar example in 'Little People of the Earth, Ceramic Figures from Ancient America' Denver Art Museum, 1991 exhibition.
