North Coast, Ca. 1100 to 1400 AD.

Globular bodied ceramic vessel on a flat base with small lug handles at waist; brown on cream color pigment intricately painted in geometric designs. Overall strong mineral deposits and root marks.
Size: 2-3/4 inches H. x 5 inches H.
Provenance: Ex Collection George Grossblatt, former owner of Pinata Party, an importer of South American design and fashion into the US, acq 1960s and by descent to B.D. his widow, NYC.
