Graeco Roman Period Ca 1st Cent BC/AD

Finely modeled into a naturalistic form with white almond shape eyes outlined in black and with matched cosmetic brows, smiling lips and delicate triangular nose. They are wearing a full tripatre headdress and broad collar lavishly decorated with protective devices; Osiris and Anubis on either lappet, and a winged scarab across forehead

There is restoration to an crushed corner some stabilization to the piece as a whole but the face is magical and quite original.

Size: 13.5 inches (33.5cm) H. + base.
