East Java, Indonesia, Circa 1294 to 1478 AD.

Conical stupa shape of simplistic design and fine craftsmanship. Carved clay with lid. Such small stupas were used by Buddhists either as reliquaries or votive offerings.

Size: 5-3/4 inches H. Intact, age wear, rim abrasions.
