14725. Islamic Turquoise Glaze Pottery Oil Lamp

Persia, Kashan, Circa 10th to 12th Century AD.

A frit or clay vessel with trefoil lip and thick turquoise iridescent green glaze, loop handle and and bowl base. H. 3-1/4 inches. Condition: Good and with nice iridescence, age wear as expected.
Provenance Ex Collection of Dr. Edward D Joseph. With an old foxed notebook page no 38. which states it was purchased Metropolitan Museum of Art in Dec 1972.
