New Kingdom, 18th dynasty, ca. 1360-1330 B.C.

Brilliant blue glazed faience amulet of the striding, ibis headed Thoth, wearing the royal wig and short pleated skirt. Size: 2-1/2 inches H. + wood base. Intact, excellent condition. Rare to find a top quality example intact.
Provenance: Ex. Fay Safani collection, NYC, acquired 1960s-1980s, acquired by current owner from above, 2017.
