14876. Large Pre Dynastic Black topped Red-ware Jar
Naqada I, circa 4000 to 3500 BC. A large and impressive offering vessel of deep rounded oviud form with flat base and curved side walls. Rich red burnished surface and oxidized black at top. Size 8-7/8 inches (22.5cm.) Height. Condition: Intact with 3 inch crack stabalized from rim.
