Central Coast, Ca. 400 600 A.D.

A rare depiction of the head of the animal so important to the economy of the ancient Andean people as they were used for wool, transportation and food. Handsome facial features including retracted ears, almond shaped eyes and and typical compact Moche spout. Overall red painted with cream designs.
Size: 7.25' x 4' x 5' (18 x 10 x 13 cm).
