14892. Egyptian Green Glaze Faience Ushabti for Wawa

XXVIst Dynasty, Ca. 664 to 525 BC.

A tall slender servant figure with with nice face and hoe and sickle folded across chest. He had remains of a painted inscription line of hieroglyphics down front in lose flowing text, probably named Wawa;now lost on this specimen.
Size: 6-1/4 (16cm) inches H; + custom mount. Surface deposits and wear. Ex British private Collection, Acq John Nicholson, Surrey UK.
