India Ca 3rd to 5th Century AD

He has strong facial features, voluminous nose and lips, incised details to eyes and bale pate. The head also has an incised thired eye. Age worn and minor damage to back and extremities. Size 4 inches H.; 5-5/8 on custom mount. Provenance: From a German collection formed in the 1960s. Cp: Poster, Amy G.
