Hispanolia, Ca. 1200 to 1500 AD. Carved miniature masterwork of a hard stone bird finial with hands held to front, triangular beak nose, folded wings and large orb eye sockets. Well pecked and incised construction. Nice polish and patina. Underside recessed for attachment. Size 1-1/2 in H + plexi block mount
