Third Intermediate Period, Ca 1069-656 BC.

The lion-headed goddess holding an implement held to chest and wearing uraeus headdress; suspension loop for attachment, the back column incised with "recitation by Bastet". Size: 2 inches high + custom mount. Missing below knees. Provenance Old Tuxedo Park, NY private coll, acquired 1980s or earlier.
