Cenrtal Coast, Ca. 400 to 600 A.D.

Terracotta head vessel depicted with handsome facial features; smooth headband tied under chin. Overall remains of pigment in red and tan painted surface. Size: 6-1/4 inches (16cm) H. Provenance: Coll of Romey Ray, London. Old sticker on base inscribed Early Peruvian Found At Trusillo Peru Made Prior of the 16th Cent, and Mochica N. Coast of Peru, 600 A.D, Digby BM.
