15452. South Italian Pottery Black Glaze Kylix

Circa 4th century BC

Shallow pottery ritual bowl on low disc foot with twin horizontal handles at sides and overall black glaze finish. Intact with nice earth deposits.
size 1-5/8 in H. x 7-34 in D. handle to handle.

Provenance: Estate of M.H., Upper East Side, NY, a Slovak refugee who seems to have collected in the early 1980s.
