15530. Roman Green Glass Double Handled Unguentarium

Eastern Mediterranean Circa 1st to 2nd century AD.

A green glass vial with a swirl pattern to the long cylindrical chamber, twin loop handle trailed on, wide stable base and thick rolled lip. Leaning slightly to one side.
Size: 5 inches H. Good condition with windswept ancient patina. Ex. Private 5th Avenue New York Collector whose apartment overlooked the Guggenheim Museum.
