15604. Roman Green Glass Spouted Feeder Vessel

Eastern Mediterranean Circa 1st to 2nd century AD.

With squat spherical open body and a protruding conical spout on body. Perhaps used in medical capacity or as a baby feeder. Scattered silvery iridescent surface patina. Slight spout flake, or else excellent condition Nice example.

Dimensions: H: 2.75 inches: W: 1.5 inches: D: 3.5 inches + custom base

Provenance: Leonard Wasserman (1925-2011), Philadelphia PA, founder of Kiddie City; who with his wife collected Roman Glass at great expense in the 1970's and 80's from dealers in New York, Philadelphia and New Orleans as well as overseas in Paris, London and Israel.
