Inscriptions: Retains an old collector’s\/dealer’s ink paper label on the reverse inscribed “宋時代觀音...” (identifying the subject as a Song Dynasty style Guanyin). Formed as an arched, pointed mandorla (leaf-shaped stele) set upon a stepped, molded rectangular plinth.  High-relief standing figure of Guanyin (Avalokiteshvara) depicted with hands clasped in front holding an attribute beneath long, flowing robes cinched with a high sash across the chest.
