Late period, circa 700 to 30 B.C.

Fine blue-green glazed faience Isis sitting on her throne, with remnants of baby Horus on her lap.  She has  exceptionally fine facial features and is wearing a finely striated royal wig, She holds her right hand to her left breast. Both sides of the throne are decorated in a relief fish scale pattern.

Condition: Missing her crown and left arm, repaired break through her waist, missing her nose and most of the baby Horus. Two minor edge chips on the front edge of the integral base. Mounted on a custom tiered hardwood base. 
Size: 3-5/8 inches H. x 2-1/4 inches L. 
Provenance: Ex Dr. W. Benson Harer collection, LA. Penciled on the underside of base: “B41/89 Tel el-Amarna No 6455”
