The buff ground is decorated in the Corinthian black-figure technique with a swan as the principal motif, its body rendered in lustrous black slip with added purple-red and fine incised detailing defining the wing and plumage. The field is densely filled with incised dot-rosettes in the animal-frieze manner. Radiating tongue-and-ray patterns encircle the shoulder, with bands at the neck and a rayed rosette on the mouth disk edged with dots—canonical Corinthian ornament of the period\u003cbr\u003eSie: 3-3\/8 inches (8.5 cm) in height + custom base. It retains its intact form, including the handle and mouth, with surface wear and minor slip loss consistent with age and use, making it an attractive and displayable example.
