The back is broken away to the line of the neck.  Comparable cap‑wearing terracotta heads from Hellenistic contexts are known from Greek and Alexandrian workshops, where such small figures depicted everyday people, actors, or attendants.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions  Head: 1 3\/8 in. H (3.5 cm);  Height including base: 2 1\/4 in. H (5.7 cm)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCondition Terracotta fragment from a larger figure, broken at the neck and around the back of the head; small edge chips and minor surface abrasions consistent with burial and age. Warm brown surface with traces of encrustation and light earthen deposits; no obvious modern repaint.
