West Mexico, Protoclassic period, circa 100 BC. to A.D. 250.

A buff ware sculpture of excellent abstracted triangular form with elongated head to raised knee, pleasant facial features, fancy ear clips and painted details to edge of skirt.


Size 11-3/4 inches H.

Condition: surface wear, minor looses to toe and earring and excellent dendritic deposits. Acquired from Royal Athena Gallery NY inv BW8802, in 1988 by Dr. M Best, Riverdale NY
