Early Bronze Age Period, Circa 3rd Millennium BCA rare stylized female votive bust of a fertility figure from the Syro-Hittite culture. Her proportions and features are prominent consisting of a large beak-like protruding nose (chipped) and bulging coffee bean shaped eyes with incised pupils. The body is ornately decorated with light incision work; scoop neck and dress with cross hatch almost like a brocade design. The figurine’s breasts are exposed and extend out. 

Size 4-3/8 inches H. + custom-made stand for display.

Provenance: Ex Brooklyn NY Coll, Acquired from David Liebert Time Machine Queens NY  2000s.
