Of abstracted flattened form, with incised eyes and curved eyebrows, narrow neck, shoulders sloping to a broad body and flat base.
Used for dedication to an all seeing god who watched over the populations of early Mesopotamia.

Size 2-7/8 inches (7.3 cm.) H. + custom mount

Minor restoration to proper right eye lid and repair at neck or else excellent condition and with earth deposits.

Comes with a penned catalogue description from British Near Eastern scholar Wilfried George Lambert (1926-2011).  Ex Prominent Woburn MA collector ET.
