Ritual bell with handle in the shape of the vajra,  with rarely seen 8 (not the usual 7 or 9) prongs to the vajra finial. Fine tone, deep olive patina.

Size:  7 7/8 inches H. ( 20 cm) H. Very good condition, with expected wear

Provence:  A lifetime R.I. musician and instrument and archaeological bell collector.

In Esoteric Buddhist ritual, a priest places five bronze bells on the main altar table, this being one of them.
