Late period, ca. 700 - 30 B.C.

 

A cast bronze standing figure of the mummiform God of resurrection, Osiris, wearing a tall crown headdress symbolic for Upper Egypt, beard and is  holding implements in both hands. Greenish black surface patina with scattered areas of red-brown oxides. Excellent condition. 

Size 4-3/8 inches (11.11cm) H. + tang;  5-1/2 inches (14cm) H custom base.
