Colombia Ecuador Circa 300 BC AD

Expressive naturalistic example of a shaman priest from an important effigy figure wearing a smooth bag headdress. Fine details in the almond eyes,  pierced nose which once held ornament as well as wrinkled face. 

Size 5-1/2 inches H. + custom mount.

 Very fine example of an art that is not often this naturalistic. Well preserved and crisp details. Old Coll number penned behind 42.814
