A pale green blown-glass bottle with bell-shaped body, tall slender neck and out-turned folded rim, intact with attractive iridescent and earthen patina from long burial.

Height 5 1/2 inches.  

Provenance: Property from a New York City collection; retains an old Sotheby Parke Bernet lot tag “147,” and with a typed collection label in the neck reading “Klejman 109100t,” indicating earlier acquisition from the J. J. Klejman Gallery, New York

J. J. Klejman (John J. Klejman) was a Polish-born dealer who, with his wife, ran the J. J. Klejman Gallery on Madison Avenue in New York from about 1950 to 1974, supplying antiquities, Asian and African art to most major U.S. and European museums as well as important private collector
