 Circa 1st to 3rd Century AD

Heavy solid gold finger ring with a tapered shank terminating with two stylized feline heads with open toothy mouths, biting the shank. Large oval bezel decorated with a standing nude figure, legs crossed and holding a long staff and an amphora.  

Ring size: 9; weight 16 gms. A beautiful wearable ancient ring.

Provenance: Private NYC collection, ex. Madame Frances Artuner, Brussels, 1960-1980s, brought to USA 1980s - 2000.
