Late Period, ca. 700-30 B.C.

Probably a sistrum handle in green glaze composition which shows vertical hieroglyphic text in a column on either side, typical of the formal inscriptions found on ritual instruments. The preservation of the text is quite good, allowing for clear visibility of the hieroglyphic signs.
