 An elegant devotional image carved in alabaster with elongated proportions, gentle expression, and the classic "S-curve" posture of the figure—an artistic convention that conveys both grace and spiritual elevation. The drapery is deeply carved and flows naturally, creating movement and light-shadow effects typical of Gothic sculpture.

The crown denotes her status as the Queen of Heaven, another hallmark of Madonna representations from this era.
Dimensions: (Overall) H 11" (Sculpture) H 9.75" x W 3" x D 2.75" Condition: Losses to baby Jesus, few chips, rubbing, and loss of pigment. Crown with losses.
