Circa 19th to 20th century AD

A gilt bronze cast dancing Dakini, a female deity or spiritual being in Tibetan and Nepalese Buddhism. This statue is based on medieval styles and forms and has excellent energy.

The figure stands atop a double lotus pedestal in an animated, energetic pose characteristic of tantric deities. One arm is raised above her head, holding a ritual implement, while the other extends downward, holding a symbolic attribute. She is adorned with elaborate jewelry, a crown, and a girdle, reflecting her divine and powerful status.
