Middle Preclassic, ca. 1200 to 500 B.C.

Central Highlands, Mexico. Standing nude with truncated arms, exposed breasts and wide hips and overall adorned in ochre pigment throughout. Lovely expressive facial features and ringlets of hair atop head. (Type-D1). 

Size 4-1/4 inches Height + custom mount. Intact and choice.

Provenance: Private Mercer Island WA collection by descent from Ruth Goldwyn Capps & Henry McClure Capps (known as Mac) who was an art director and production designer for TV & films in the mid-1950s.
