The terracotta plastic oil vessel shaped as a hare is an example of a "plastic" vase, a style of pottery that combines functional utility with sculptural creativity. These vessels were often used to store and pour valuable substances like oils and perfumes, and their animal-shaped forms reflect both artistic innovation and cultural significance.  The hare-shaped vessel is thus a product of this inventive tradition, showcasing how Greek artisans combined practicality with artistic flair to create visually striking and culturally meaningful objects.Size: 3-3/4 inches (9.52cm) L.
