Circa 1920, Colorful depiction of a standing person with a flaring conical hat painted in mustard yellow with bands of green and red and large, eye‑motifs on the brim and shoulders; the front of the body is carved in a bold, triangular relief and decorated with repeated abstract eye and mask designs in black over teal and brown grounds, framed by a yellow border, while the back is left largely unpainted, showing the tool‑marks and wear of the original cedar block; the figure’s face and hat retain much of their original polychrome with an appealing, softly worn surface from age and use.
