North Coast Peru, Circa 600 AD

Circular pierced good applique discs with standing warrior figures, each holding weapons and wearing belts and  headdresses and within a border with raised hubs. Total weight 58.8 grams (2 oz.), each gold disk is 3 inches in diameter, each pierced for attachment. All are together on a custom presentation mount (10 in x 4 in x 7 in)

An xrf elemental analysis report from Manhattan Gold and Silver Inc dated December 23, 2024, examining one of the appliques was conducted using an ElvaX spectrometer and took 11 seconds to complete.  The sample is classified as 15.9K gold with plating possible.
Gold (Au): 66.48%
Silver (Ag): 16.47%
Copper (Cu): 17.05%1

This three-metal combination was commonly used in pre-Columbian Peru, where artisans created sophisticated alloys combining gold, silver and copper, known as tumbaga.
